Before we started as a consultants, we worked in operational roles and experienced the difficulties that a manager, a business manager has to deal with. Bringing difficult messages, firing people, doing more with less resources, dealing with resistance to change, building organizations, adjusting culture, developing people, recruiting people, ... We had to take these decisions ourselves, we weren’t just supporting from the sidelines.
